Laneway Festival is the ultimate summer music experience, bringing together some of the best and brightest artists from across the globe to entertain crowds in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth. This year’s line-up is no exception, as we welcome five triple j Unearthed winners to open the festival in their respective states: Coldwave, Felivand, Abby Bella May, PRICIE, and Siobhan Cotchin.
Adelaide: Coldwave is a post-punk six-piece band from Adelaide that blends a powerful twin guitar attack with booming horns, uncompromising vocals, and high-energy live performances. Their music has quickly become a favourite among locals in the city, playing to packed crowds in some of Adelaide’s most beloved venues.
Brisbane: Felivand is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter and producer from Brisbane, known for her organic, textural alternative pop. Her talented songwriting and production skills have earned her a devoted following in Australia and beyond.
Sydney: Abby Bella May is a young singer-songwriter from Sydney, known for her confessional and upfront style of lyricism. With soaring vocals and indie-pop production, she has been turning heads with her debut EP ‘I Am Sensitive’, landing sold-out shows in Sydney, Melbourne, and Wollongong.
Melbourne: Rounding out the Laneway Festival line-up is PRICIE in Melbourne, a Nigerian-born, Australian-raised artist who has been turning heads with her electrifying live performances and catchy pop tracks.
Perth: To top it all off, the festival will also welcome country-grunge singer-songwriter Siobhan Cotchin to the stage in Perth, who recently secured several accolades, including Best Country Act, Best EP, and Best Vocalist at this year’s WAM Awards.
