With The Last of Us Part 1 (2022) out in the wild, now’s as good a time as any for HBO to give us our first look at their upcoming TV show adaptation with a brand new trailer. Starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, the series is still without a release date, but we’re getting more excited by the day.
Released as part of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Day (previously known as Outbreak Day), the first trailer has minimal dialogue, but we see towns ransacked by the Infected and our very first look at Clickers. And then, right at the end, we get that gut punch opener from the original game in live-action.
We’re getting closer and closer to seeing The Last of Us on our screens, and today’s trailer has us more excited than ever. While we still don’t have a release date, 2023 can’t come soon enough.
