The much-anticipated season 2 of The White Lotus is set to air on HBO Max in the US on October 30. While we don’t have an official UK release date yet, we’re already excited about what’s in store. Based on the new trailer, we can expect plenty of death, drama, comedy, and luxury, this time in Sicily. So let’s take a closer look.
As any fan knows, The White Lotus is all about excess. Everything about the show oozes luxury, from the opulent surroundings to the outrageous guests. And it looks like season 2 will be no different. Based on the trailer, we can expect plenty of lavish parties, extravagant vacations, and over-the-top fun.
Of course, with all that excess comes plenty of drama. Season 1 ended with a bang, and it looks like season 2 will pick up right where we left off. We can expect more backstabbing, gossiping, and scheming than ever before.
In addition to all the new faces we’ll be meeting in season 2, it looks like we’ll also be seeing some familiar ones. Jennifer Coolidge is reprising her role as Tanya McQuoid, and we’ll also be seeing her beau Greg (Jon Gries) join her for a vacation to the hotel. Based on the trailer, they’re in for a wild ride.

The sequel is no different, with a star-studded cast. Haley Lu Richardson plays Portia, Tanya’s assistant, who is third-wheeling on the couple’s little getaway despite Greg’s objections. F Murray Abraham stars as Bert Di Grasso, who comes to Sicily with his grandson Albie (Adam DiMarco) and son Dominic (Michael Imperioli). Aubrey Plaza is the newly wealthy Harper Spiller, vacationing with her husband Ethan (Will Sharpe).
In the new trailer, we get a better look at all of these characters and their strange, aberrant personalities and skeletons in their closets.
We can’t wait for The White Lotus season 2 to premiere on HBO Max in the US on October 30.
In the meantime, we’ll be rewatching season 1 and trying to predict what will happen in the new season. Will Tanya and Greg’s relationship survive their vacation? Will someone finally figure out what happened? And most importantly, will we see even more outrageous outfits and parties than ever before? Only time will tell.
