Sir Cliff Richard, the legendary British pop star, has announced a string of shows celebrating his 65th anniversary in the music industry.
The Blue Sapphire Tour 2023 will see Richard perform hits from his massive catalogue at London, Blackpool, and Glasgow venues.
With over 250 million record sales worldwide, 14 number-one singles, and the official chart record for achieving a Top 5 album in eight consecutive decades, Sir Cliff has cemented his place as one of Britain’s all-time greatest hit makers. In addition to his musical success, he has also appeared in successful films, musicals, and television shows.
Aside from his entertainment career, Sir Cliff is also known for his charitable work, which earned him a knighthood in the 1995 Birthday Honours. He recently celebrated his 80th birthday with The Great 80 Tour, postponed due to COVID-19 but ultimately took place in 2021 to sold-out venues and live streaming.
