This week at Comic-Con International, The Pokémon Company International revealed an exciting look into the future of the Pokémon animated series. With an exclusive panel discussing both upcoming and legacy content, fans were given a unique window into how these beloved characters come to life.
The panel surprised attendees with an English-dubbed preview of the first 11 minutes of the highly anticipated ‘Pokémon Horizons: The Series‘. Along with this, a brand new trailer for the series was unveiled, giving fans their first glimpse at the dual protagonists of Liko and Roy, their respective partners Pokémon Sprigatito and Fuecoco, plus the Rising Volt Tacklers led by Friede and Captain Pikachu and antagonist group known as the Explorers, including Amethio and his partner Pokémon Ceruledge.
In a behind-the-scenes video, viewers were also given an insight into the animation development process of ‘Pokémon Horizons: The Series’ from the production team in Japan. This was followed by exploring how The Pokémon Company International localises characters for fans worldwide.
